It’s episode SIXTY-NINE of Satansplain. Hmm. Sixty-Nine. OK, let’s talk about sex.

Magister Bill M. here with Satansplain. Yes, I know that using sex as the topic for episode number 69 might seem like too predictable a joke. But I figured that this is a topic I’d want to talk about eventually on Satansplain, and if I didn’t use episode number 69 for that, well, I’d probably get MORE complaints, namely about missing an opportunity. For the few of you listeners who don’t know what the meaning is of the sexual slang term, 69, well…you can go look that up on your own.
Now I’m sure a lot of you out there may be thinking, “Well, Bill, we already know what Satanism says about sex. It says sex is OK. It doesn’t view it as a sin, like other religions. Satanism embraces lust and other forms of indulgence.” Some of the slightly more well-versed people may add, “But also, Bill, we know that Satanism doesn’t advocate rape or child molestation.” Yes, that’s all true. I suppose we could sum it up as: Satanism is fine with whatever consenting human adults decide to do in the bedroom. Seems simple enough. We could end this episode here. But … I would argue there’s more to be said on this topic. Namely because misconceptions still persist. Not only from certain Christians and other non-Satanists presuming what we do and what we allow or don’t allow. But also from the other extreme, the allegedly sexually liberated.
